Skills

I'm an enthusiastic learner. Here are some languages and tools that I've worked with.

About Me

Hello, my name is Jake. I am a Software Engineer with a passion for People and how they interact with Technology. Throughout my career, I have acquired valuable experience and skills in fields such as Education, E-commerce, and Software Development.

I strongly believe in the power of Advocating for the User when creating new tools. This belief has been the driving force behind my work, as I strive to make my work Accessible and Intuitive for all users on all devices.

In terms of my educational background, I studied Biological Anthropology at the University of California, Santa Barbara. This has provided me with a solid foundation in understanding how People interact with their Environment and enables me to create tools with the User Experience in mind.

I started coding in my highschool mechatronics program and picked it back up again after graduating from university. I attended an Immersive Software Engineering Program through General Assembly, which provided me with the tools necessary to code in a Professional Environment within a Team of engineers. I am committed to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in my field.
